Since the abolition of numeracy and literacy skills tests in 2019, all ITE providers have to assure their trainees are proficient in these areas.

 

Throughout the year, starting on interview day, we will be assessing our trainees' knowledge of Maths and English and ensuring that any gaps in knowledge are addressed before the award of QTS.

 

For Maths and English, all our trainees sit the Century diagnostic test. If any areas for improvement are flagged by this test, we will help you to work on them to ensure that you pass the summative test by the end of your training year.

 

For English, we assess your application and a reflective task you do on interview day.
